I ended up with a 512x512 texture for my own use, but feel free to resize it and use it if you like: I'm not much of an artist, but I ran the texture I dumped through waifu2x, and did some additional detailing/smoothing. With the pack texture, there is instead a dark blotch on the forehead portion of the mask because the texture is somehow missing those elements. I wanted to get some in-game screenshots for comparison, but unfortunately I don't have a save file at that point in the game right now, but here's a comparison of the texture included in version 8.0 of the pack and the texture I dumped a few months ago:įor whatever reason, the pack texture doesn't have the elements on the left side of the texture I dumped, which fill in ornamentation on the mask in-game.

This texture is for the mask that Melia wears after she separates from the party in Alcamoth and undertakes the trial in the High Entia Tomb. The texture in question is tex1_128x128_cc50c831bdbf23a5_14, which is located in the Hair_Faces folder. I'm not very active on the dolphin forums in general, but I wanted to bring up a long-standing issue with one texture that was either improperly dumped, or possibly was an issue with the way dolphin worked way-back-when. Oh dear, it seems I didn't make it before a new version of the HD pack was uploaded. Just copy these files into "Your Dolphin Path"/Dolphin emulator/Config I know this is not really a fix but I need to be sure that this is dolphin related, but backup your settings first so you can easily revert to your settings later on !!! So what I'm going to do is send my configurations. Anyway, I've encountered a similar crash in the past (at the entrance of Tephra Cave and then looking at the commercial district) and enabling Synchronize GPU thread fixed it for me. The game has about 2gb of empty space on the disc. After rebuilding the ISO the game automatically gets compressed. The error ocurred right after the battle at colony 9 when Shulk and Reyn about (insert character name here) death and what dunbam said. I will try put overclock to 130% to 150% to see if get better. Strangely, my Dump have about 8.5 GB but after the patch, it have about 6.5 GB. No error message appeared (panic handlers are on) the image of the game froze but the music worked fine. I've used the NTSC version (SX4E01) on latest Ishiruuka and 200% overclock on dolphin. Man, that's a good patch, but the game crashed a lot a little before and after the first fight with the metal face (mostly in cutscenes). PAL and NTSC-J are not yet supported due to regional differences. It also only works for the NTSC version of the game. I only patched Colony 9 as of know due to testing purposes.

My setup.exe is actually only a GUI of their tools allowing for this new and easy install method. I also want to thank the creators of Wiimm for making this new method possible.

The only thing you have to do is run the program and select your Xenoblade iso file and hit that install button. I've spend the last six months learning alot about C# and I'm glad to announce that I have a new method of installing the patch.

I noticed a lot of people had trouble getting my mods to be properly installed. I've also learned from my mistakes in the past.

Once you installed this patch I can guarantee you that you can't go back. Granted my CPU isn't the best one out there I was still shocked by the performance hit. Be warned!!! CPU cost (in my case) has drastically increased. The only objects that still spawn as you wander around are the npc's cause they have not yet been patched. I was able to increase the draw distance of the game.Īs you can see the draw distance hasn't just been increased but they are also in their high poly state.
